Kirsty Nancarrow
Hi, I'm Kirsty. I have enjoyed sharing people’s stories for more than 30 years. I was an award-winning ABC journalist for 15 years in Sydney, Alice Springs, Darwin, and Cairns. I have called Tropical Far North Queensland home since 2010. I love the connection, creativity, lifestyle, and rich stories regional communities offer. I'm in my happy place when I am speaking to diverse audiences, filming and photographing in nature, hiking, cooking for friends and family, and dancing my heart out to Latin rhythms.
As a media and presentation skills trainer, I can help you and your team engage effectively with journalists, identify and share your good news stories, and prepare your key messages so you can remain calm and present yourself with confidence.
Kirsty has contributed to the book Interviewing: A Guide for Journalists and Professional Writers and is the author of Himalayan Dreams: The Story of Som Tamang.
